Description
Why these and not the stove in my video? The Coleman stove I used on camera malfunctioned on me, so I’m not recommending it. Instead I picked three stoves from other brands with strong reputations for being built to last. I haven’t cooked on these on camera yet; these are my picks based on their track record and independent reviews.
This is the stove for someone who wants one that keeps going year after year. Eureka built it tough, and the burners are spaced far enough apart (about 12 inches) that two full-size pans fit side by side without fighting for room.
Pros
- Durable, well-made construction
- Wide cooking surface, fits two big pans
- Easy to use and a good fit for car camping
Cons
- Less heat output than the Camp Chef stoves
- Not light, so it’s for the car, not the backpack
Compare: the Camp Chef Everest 2X Two-Burner Camp Stove or the Camp Chef Explorer Heavy-Duty Two-Burner Stove are the other two stoves I picked. You’ll find them in the Shop under Outdoor & Travel.
